Stretching Ears for Silicone Ear Gauges
When you're getting ready to stretch a piercing, massage emu oil into the tissue around your piercing twice a day for a week prior to stretching. Emu oil enhances the skin's natural elasticity and makes it easier to stretch without creating microscopic tears in your fistula (piercing hole) that could make you susceptible to infection. Sterilizing Your Silicone Plug Jewelry
If you'd like, we can sterilize your silicone plugs before shipping them to you. Just add one of our "Sterilize My Jewelry" options to cart for each silicone plug you purchase, and we'll autoclave your new jewelry for you. To maintain your silicone plugs at home, wash them in warm, soapy water periodically. Rinse your silicone plugs thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean cloth before reinserting them in your stretched piercing(s).
